There could be a deeper connection there
Do you ever have one of those days where your energy drops, you get grouchy, you're hyper-emotional and you generally just feel crappy? Over the past couple of years, I have noticed that my husband and I seem to have those days at the same time. At first I thought I was just reacting to his bad mood, but then I realized that we can have those kinds of days even when one of us is out of town. Then I started to notice that on days when I felt that way, people on facebook would be posting how they felt that way and then other people I talked to also seemed to be affected.
I began to think that maybe there was something going on globally that was affecting people. We all know that storm fronts moving in can aggravate arthritis symptoms or increase headaches and that the full moon can affect some people's mood and ability to sleep. I've also found that sometimes when there are large solar flares from the sun, I can't sleep either - I end up just lying there, wired for no reason. So what could it be that was causing my energy to drop suddenly and my emotions to go crazy and then all of a sudden balance out? I began to notice over the past year that directly following one of these periods, I would often start to feel better right before I heard about a large Earthquake happening somewhere in the world. It makes sense to me that the huge pressure build up that must happen before an Earthquake could affect people in the same ways that storm fronts and full moons can affect us. I am beginning to think that there could be a deeper connection there.
I have been using an intention guided meditation technique that I created that has been helping me to feel better during these periods. Some of the things that can help are to dig in the dirt, go for a hike, or hug a tree. These all help me to clear out and feel better and you can see if it works for you. If you have any questions about this or want to know more, please email me at ammabodywork@hotmail.com.
