Surrender

Surrender is not about being idle. Surrender is seeing beyond the illusion of control. Surrender is the willingness to follow the path of least resistance - to see the openings and walk through them - to center, ground and follow your guidance. Surrender is the way of the peaceful warrior. Surrender what you think you want and what you think you need, and open to the easeful path along which the greatest learning and joy can be had. Surrender requires acceptance, flexibility and connection. Surrender requires listening with your being, opening with your being, and the willingness to take action in ways that may not make logical sense, but that you know in your core are right. Becoming present in your body and in your space and in the world, feeling your feet on the ground, feeling the breath in your lungs, connecting with the present moment, and allowing the vibrancy of your surroundings to penetrate your exterior allows you the strength and knowing to surrender. It stops the fear cycle. It connects you with your strength, with your essence and with God. Stepping into a place of true connection with your body on the Earth, and feeling the energy of God in all that is, including yourself, allows you to step into the surrender. Stepping into the surrender is not a passive or idle thing. It comes from a place of great strength and stability.
